All you guys mocking around with ppas could have compiled 5.12.5 by now 20x!
The last working mainline kernel is 5.11.16. Nothing later works when installing into 18.04 LTS. I've been forced to compile each latest kernel since. But because of that predicament, I've now got it down to a fixed repeatable routine and can do it with my eyes closed or even script it at some point. Best thing about it is it is compiled against my cpu architecture and with -O3 optimisations (just like gentoo). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1926938 Title: Recent mainline packages are built with Hirsuite 21.04, not Focal 20.04 LTS To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1926938/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
