Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Summary - I get same result as Tomasz after a no-internet install - I don't have an issue after a 'install using existing partition' install; NO replication of issue I did a couple of QA-test installs with the ISO Tomasz refers to (http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/424/builds/238226/testcases/1701/results) I booted an install on the dc7700 & it was unable to `ubuntu-bug qterminal` as Tomasz reports; however the install log reports my first test on that box was "no-internet" & it's likely that was the case on both tests for that box so it's an expected result on that box I believe. (expected confirmation; but no issue) I also booted the d780 I also performed a QA-test on, and it was very happily willing to file a report on `ubuntu-bug qterminal` and there is no evidence I'd have `sudo apt update` (alas anything is possible) as commands evident are all local exploration of the system directories to verify the install itself. The 'install using existing partition' though maybe is a different case; as the installer has to download & install packages to restore my additional packages - so had to update software lists to install `clementine` & my other non-Lubuntu default packages I used in that test. Issue doesn't exist here - no confirmation. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1947024 Title: Package information is not updated during installation process To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares-settings-ubuntu/+bug/1947024/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
