I have similar problem with a Sony DSC-W35 on Gutsy 32bit. When I plug
it in mass-storage mode, the gnome pop up an error "Invalid mount option
when attempting to mount the volume." with error title "Cannot mount
volume."

At the log I see:

I can't understand why it sees it as UDF format :S

fdisk -l /dev/sdb shows:
Disk /dev/sdb: 491 MB, 491782144 bytes
32 heads, 32 sectors/track, 938 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 1024 * 512 = 524288 bytes

/dev/sdb1   *           1         937      479499+   6  FAT16

Mounting by hand (mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt) works perfectly!
Any idea where to look further for this problem?
