Yess, The 24.04 Live session works. I have already tried purging all Nvidia-related packages, (using, apt- get remove --purge '^nvidia-.*') and switching to the Nouveau driver, won't work either.
Matter of fact I just finished a clean install, offline*, and without 3rd party software, and that I'm still facing the same problem. The reason, I've mentioned the Nvidia drivers, is that up to a month ago, the 470-driver "just worked", and after upgrading it from '470.239.06-0ubuntu2' to '470.256.02-0ubuntu0.24.04.1' it suddenly stopped working on 2024-06-20.
