I tried it on Hardy Heron Alpha2 and it seems to be working fine. There were a
couple of problems but I don't know if they are related to this bug:
1) After waking up the network-manager takes a long time (more than a minute)
until it starts to reconnect to a wireless network again. During that time,
clicking on the applet icons shows that no networks are detected. It seems to
me that there is some long timeout there when the daemon is trying to use the
wireless card again, but I don't know how to test this.
2) I noticed that during shutdown (without the quiet and splash) NetworkManager
prints some error messages. However, the messages didn't cause any delay and
disappeared quickly, so I don't know what they meant.
