Remember that the information added refers to the system AFTER it was
upgraded to Plucky, so does not reflect the system state at the time of
the problem.

I'll attach the actual state at the time, in case it is of use.

This is the result of running these commands just before the upgrade was
started:

apt-cache search '.*' | sort > avail.list
dpkg-query -l > installed.list
apt-mark showmanual > manual.list
apt-mark showauto > auto.list
snap list > snap.list
