I can confirm it work for a system without libc:i386 installed, too. A nice irony is that this system runs all of the time (and has a screen - an old TV, usually switched off), so I want the desktop, but not anacron (I want to define when my backups etc. will run and you can't mark anacron as "not running" if it is installed).
So after the upgrade with -m desktop I have to purge anacron, which also removes kubuntu-desktop (but fortunately leaves behind everything it pulls in). I might be able to upgrade a system with both steam and wine on it over the weekend. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2106202 Title: Kubuntu 24.10 do-release-upgrade and Steam (or other) dependencies installed produces not booting desktop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/2106202/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
