> So I have to add plucky-proposed to the ubuntu.sources file? > Seems odd, given the response in #13.
No, you don't. That is just a template reply with generic instructions that apply to most SRUS. In this case while the update is in plucky proposed, to test you use the test plan instructions in #1. That does not involve changing your sources. One the update is tested and released and upgrades turned back on, the oracular updater will fetch the plucky upgrader from the plucky release pocket. No change of sources required. That is it's usual behaviour for any upgrade. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2106202 Title: Kubuntu 24.10 do-release-upgrade and Steam (or other) dependencies installed produces not booting desktop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/2106202/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
