(In reply to Johannes Berg from comment #52) I just installed both patches (ACPI + UEFI) over my 6.15.6 kernel, and the Wi-Fi is working on my GU605CW! Thank you very much for your great work on this! Just as a minor caveat, in my case, applying the patches automatically (via git) failed since the 6.15.6 kernel code differs on my distro's source-based package system (I don't know why). Therefore, I read through the patch code manually and applied the changes manually (containing the exact same code at the exact same places, I didn't change any of the actual contents of the patches). I got the following output from dmesg that might be interesting:
1129:[ 10.446150] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: Registered PHC clock: iwlwifi-PTP, with index: 0 1163:[ 11.936516] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: ACPI DSM validity bitmap 0x10df 1164:[ 11.937181] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: ACPI DSM 8 not indicated as valid 1165:[ 11.937406] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: ACPI DSM 9 not indicated as valid 1166:[ 11.937479] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: ACPI DSM 10 not indicated as valid 1167:[ 12.504990] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: ACPI DSM 8 not indicated as valid 1168:[ 12.505517] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: ACPI DSM 9 not indicated as valid 1169:[ 12.505616] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: ACPI DSM 10 not indicated as valid When I tried running the commands you suggested in Comment 50, I got the following output: 1259:[ 247.619279] iwlwifi: unknown parameter 'debug' ignored .. along with a repeat of the "not indicated as valid" lines above (same contents, different timestamps). If there would be any other output you would like me to post while running this modified kernel I would be happy to provide it. In any case, everything seems to be working great so far.
