The latest oem-6.11, hwe-6.14, and generic-6.14 and above kernels are built with ipu6-drivers with fix from bug 2092139, which depends on userspace hal >= 20241122. Before that being released into OEM archives, you may find the latest ones from following PPAs: * https://launchpad.net/~oem-solutions-group/+archive/ubuntu/intel-ipu6 * https://launchpad.net/~oem-solutions-group/+archive/ubuntu/intel-ipu7
For EOL-ed generic-6.11/oracular, use hal < 20241122, because there is no chance to update it anymore. That's an kernel/userspace interface compatibility problem in upstream/downstream Intel ipu6-drivers. Not really the kernel itself. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2117458 Title: ipu6 webcam doesn't load after update from 6.11 to 6.14 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.14/+bug/2117458/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
