Judging from the facts that A, it only started after you upgraded to the 6.8.0-x kernel, and B, you have an Arrandale CPU, I think that this is a GPU bug, and is a duplicate of #2073648. If you add "intel_iommu=off" as a kernel boot parameter, your problem will likely be solved. Also, the problem doesn't seem to affect the newer 6.14.0-x kernels, even without the aforementioned boot parameter. (It still affects the 6.11.0-x kernels, though.)
