Hi Alpha, I have the same laptop as you and reported probably the same bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/2125284
I have tried to install: https://github.com/alsa-project/alsa-ucm-conf with the installation instructions on that page with the following command: curl -L -o alsa-ucm-conf.tar.gz https://github.com/alsa-project/alsa-ucm-conf/archive/refs/heads/master.tar.gz tar xvzf alsa-ucm-conf.tar.gz -C /usr/share/alsa --strip-components=1 --wildcards "*/ucm" "*/ucm2" This worked of course as this is only downloading and untar the files. However to apply this 'fix' with the following command: systemctl stop alsa-state rm /var/lib/alsa/asound.state systemctl start alsa-state did not work. I noticed 'asound.state' is not on my live USB ubuntu 25.10 beta system. I could not find it anywhere. Do you know or remember how to apply this fix? Thank you! And i hope this fix will make it in the final Ubuntu 25.10. Maybe Daniel can say something about that? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2125542 Title: Alsa ucm2 folder needs update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-ucm-conf/+bug/2125542/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
