Ok, I tried to install it once again using Additional Drivers GUI (nvidia-driver-550-open from Nouveau).
No error! And as suspected previously, this action installs new (latest?) kernel (6.14.0-32-generic) and this one gets booted next time. And because it is corrupted (partially installed) nothing works. Now again trying to switch the driver gives some other errors. (Before it gave script error) Is this the same issue? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2115148 Title: nvidia driver error: cannot open linker script file To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-restricted-modules/+bug/2115148/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
