Public bug reported: I suggest removing the binaries for llvm-toolchain-21 and spirv-llvm- translator-21 from riscv64 from questing. This should allow llvm- toolchain-21 and spirv-llvm-translator-21 to migrating from questing- proposed to questing. Those 2 packages are only built on riscv64 in questing and that happened because we skip running build tests on riscv64.
I am concerned with how slow riscv64 builds are currently. It looks like there is a high chance that llvm-toolchain-21 will not finish building on riscv64 before Ubuntu 25.10 is released. If it does finish in time, the binaries will be published to questing. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/llvm- toolchain-21/1:21.1.2-2ubuntu6/+latestbuild/riscv64 $ reverse-depends src:llvm-toolchain-21 Reverse-Depends =============== * libllvmspirvlib21.1 (for libllvm21) * llvm-spirv-21 (for libllvm21) Packages without architectures listed are reverse-dependencies in: riscv64 $ reverse-depends -b src:llvm-toolchain-21 Reverse-Testsuite-Triggers ========================== * spirv-llvm-translator-21 (for clang-21) * spirv-llvm-translator-21 (for llvm-21-dev) Reverse-Build-Depends ===================== * spirv-llvm-translator-21 (for clang-21) * spirv-llvm-translator-21 (for libclang-21-dev) * spirv-llvm-translator-21 (for llvm-21-dev) ** Affects: llvm-toolchain-21 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: questing -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2126775 Title: Remove llvm-toolchain-21 from riscv64 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/llvm-toolchain-21/+bug/2126775/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
