So I have a similar issue with an Dell G16 running: * Intel Corporation Raptor Lake-S UHD Graphics, Kernel driver in use: i915 * NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU/PCIe/SSE2, Kernel driver in use: nvidia
I have the same issues, with it freezing. Currently using the Nvidia driver (open kernel) metapackage from nvidia- driver-580-open(proprietary, tested). Both my monitors were running from the usb c thunderbolt. (Believe they ran without issue on Kubuntu) but after an update to Ubuntu, I have been having the freezing issue. I split the monitors so one connects through the laptop usb c and the other the laptop hdmi. So far with a number of test reboots, it has been working fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2114902 Title: Ubuntu doesn't load with dual external monitors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2114902/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
