Thanks for looking at this. I've not been able to reliably trigger this. Internally we've called it "cluster rot" as it just crops up from time to time and manifests as "Service down" (usually because app can't contact db etc) and sometimes even resolves itself after a while.
I can look to see if we can get the resolute (v29) package installed on our staging cluster but I'd need to leave it for a week or two to be confident that it's fixed it. Presumably I can use this shape: 1. Add resolute apt source 2. Add file to /etc/apt/preferences.d which only allows docker.io in from the resolute repo: Package: docker.io Pin: release a=resolute Pin-Priority: 1001 Package: * Pin: release a=resolute Pin-Priority: -1 ? Can you confirm this is a reasonable course of action? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2136802 Title: DNS resolution intermittent problems with Docker Swarm To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/docker.io-app/+bug/2136802/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
