As you're trying to patch a kernel directly, we'd suggest to send any patch to the right Linux kernel mailing list directly. To find the list you need to send the patches to, please run the following command in the Linux git repository tree [ ./scripts/get_maintainer.pl sound/soc/amd/yc/acp6x-mach.c ] It will return you a list of email addresses you need to send the patch to, on top of the mailing list itself ([email protected] and [email protected] in this case) Submitting your patches to the upstream kernel will make the fix available for all kernels/distros. Make sure the patches are properly formatted for upstream submission, otherwise they won't be accepted as they are now.
