I think I understand now how it was introduced. Between questing release and resolute the following device tree changes were added for sc8280x: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/71b12166a2be511482226b21105f1952cd8b7fa5 https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/013d01811a1ea4ce0f676e4110f94c80271586b9
Reverting the second fixes the issue on my x13s. That doesn't fix the underlying issue of course but knowing where the regression happened might still be useful. The actual issue is more likely a race condition or some dependency we don't yet understand. We don't have a lot of time left for resolute, I wonder if the best way forward would be reverting them for now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2142403 Title: Ubuntu Resolute Desktop image arm64 - Boot on SC8280XP stalls with gpi-dma errors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2142403/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
