Public bug reported:
This concerns friendly-recovery 0.2.42build1 in Ubuntu resolute.
I was setting up an Ubuntu resolute install in a chroot, and upon
installing friendly-recovery, saw the following messages:
Selecting previously unselected package friendly-recovery.
Preparing to unpack .../19-friendly-recovery_0.2.42build1_all.deb ...
Failed to disable unit: Unit friendly-recovery.service does not exist
Failed to disable unit: Unit friendly-recovery.service does not exist
Unpacking friendly-recovery (0.2.42build1) ...
The "Failed to disable ..." errors appear to be coming from the
package's preinst script. It is typical to detect whether the install is
running in a chroot, and then if so, to not attempt (or ignore attempts)
to modify running services.
** Affects: friendly-recovery (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
