On Ubuntu 24.04 LTS running GNOME on Wayland with a dual-monitor setup,
some application windows occasionally end up positioned partially above
the visible top edge of the display. When this happens, part or all of
the title bar is off-screen, so the minimize, maximize, and close
buttons are inaccessible and the window cannot be dragged back into
place normally. The full window is still visible in the GNOME Overview,
which suggests the window exists with valid geometry but is being placed
or clamped incorrectly in normal desktop view.
This has occurred with more than one application, so it does not appear
to be specific to a single program. The issue may be related to multi-
monitor geometry, primary display selection, scaling, or display state
changes such as reconnecting monitors, resuming from suspend, or
switching layouts, though I do not yet have a minimal reproducer.
Expected behavior is that windows remain fully reachable within the
visible bounds of the active monitor, with the title bar and window
controls always accessible.
