Public bug reported:
System:
Kubuntu 26.04
Plasma 6
Intel Bluetooth controller
Logitech MX Keys Mini
Problem:
Bluetooth keyboard reconnect consistently fails after suspend/resume.
Behavior:
Keyboard works perfectly after cold boot
After suspend, Bluetooth controller remains visible and active
bluetooth.service stays running
rfkill is not blocked
reconnect attempts fail with:
"Connection failed"
Additional findings:
Bluetooth controller survives suspend
bluetoothctl show still works after resume
modprobe -r btusb && modprobe btusb does not restore functionality
s2idle suspend mode reproduces issue consistently
deep sleep mode prevents successful wakeup on this hardware
Tested:
Disabled autosuspend
Repaired device
Reset BlueZ cache
Reloaded btusb/bluetooth modules
Restarted bluetooth.service
Reinstalled bluez/bluedevil
Issue persists
Hardware:
Intel Bluetooth firmware:
intel/ibt-0093-0291.sfi
This appears to be a suspend/resume regression affecting Bluetooth HID
reconnect on Intel firmware with Logitech MX devices.
** Affects: bluez (Ubuntu)
