After upgrading to `+esm8` on the affected production host (Ubuntu 18.04 bionic ESM), `mod_http2.so` loads cleanly, Apache starts with `a2enmod http2`, and HTTP/2 is served again. `nm -D --undefined-only /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_http2.so | grep H2_` is now empty, confirming the header issue described above has been corrected in the rebuild.
