I was able to retrieve all of /var/log/dist-upgrade/* from the "bad" upgrade snapshot.
What file(s) specifically are you looking for? I noticed that "apt- clone_system_state.tar.gz" is 600/root:root, but I didn't actually see anything sensitive there so I don't know why perms are so restrictive (maybe for people with ESM/Pro subscriptions). I'd rather not share screenlog.0 or apt-term.log since I can see the contents of some of the diff reviews of config files, although I can edit those out if either file is truly necessary. Both "apt.log" and "main.log" seem safe and I can see references to freeradius child packages (e.g., freeradius-common) being upgraded, but then removed, so I'm attaching those, please let me know if anything else is helpful. ** Attachment added: "/var/log/dist-upgrade/apt.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/freeradius/+bug/2155090/+attachment/5975410/+files/apt.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2155090 Title: Upgrading 22.04LTS to 24.04LTS completely breaks freeradius To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/freeradius/+bug/2155090/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
