** Description changed:

I recently updated and upgraded all the packages. I also installed citrix
workspace which i need it for work. All was ok, system auto-suspended due to
inactivity.
On restart- no sounds, nothing, nil speakers, microphone. I was expecting the
audio system to work as usual.
On settings, I only have the Dummy Output option and the audio card is not
listed.
Have updated bios to the latest and checked that audio is on, but no luck.
Also tried the tricks off internet to dealt with Dummy Output "gremlin", no
luck.
It is frustrating as I use laptop for work, and had to use windows to finish
work.
  thanks for looking into it.
