I took same machine and updated to resolute. I used xserver-xorg-core 2:21.1.22-1ubuntu1.2 on same system. Testing Xorg is a lot more awkward since GNOME doesn't support it anymore. So I installed SDDM and used that.
I confirmed again that correct policy is now happening (N GPU in D3cold and APU in D0). $ ps auxf | grep Xorg root 20765 9.8 0.2 26719124 162624 tty1 Ssl+ 11:20 0:00 \_ /usr/lib/xorg/Xorg -nolisten tcp -background none -seat seat0 vt1 -auth /run/sddm/xauth_RbGXZf -noreset -displayfd 16 $ cat /sys/bus/pci/drivers/nvidia/0000\:c6\:00.0/power_state D3cold ** Tags removed: verification-needed-resolute ** Tags added: verification-done-resolute -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2136140 Title: Add support for "boot_display" attribute To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-drivers-common/+bug/2136140/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
