Testing found more issues, but those are the tests itself and not the upload. I forked that off to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tor/+bug/2163463 which will be addressed by submitting that upstream and syncing back. It only makes sense going forward and since the tests can - due to external network needs - never work do not matter on the backports.
I have added all I got from upstream into the bug description. I derived more testing from the autopkgtest (while they can't work on infra they can help to verify in manual tests) And I got review of my merge requests, one finding which is resolved now. Overall all was ready and an upload to -unapproved was made. They can be seen waiting here until the SRU team accepts them: - https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/jammy/+queue?queue_state=1&queue_text=tor - https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/noble/+queue?queue_state=1&queue_text=tor - https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/resolute/+queue?queue_state=1&queue_text=tor ** Changed in: tor (Ubuntu Jammy) Status: Triaged => In Progress ** Changed in: tor (Ubuntu Noble) Status: Triaged => In Progress ** Changed in: tor (Ubuntu Resolute) Status: Triaged => In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2163259 Title: Tor sunsets <=4.8 - update to 4.9.11 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tor/+bug/2163259/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
