I have submitted the relevant patches for Jammy in
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/kernel-team/2026-June/169651.html, but after
internal discussions, we have decided to avoid applying these as:
1. these patches are not in upstream 5.15 stable
2. upstream will almost surely reject them in 5.15 stable due to their stable
policy
3. taking them on the Ubuntu side bears a high regression risk
