Copy of the engineering report sent to GEEKOM support. It provides the current firmware, Linux, driver, and hardware configuration; the exact failure timeline and TLP; the post-recovery AER storm; and requests escalation to the A7 Max BIOS/AMD USB4 engineering team.
New evidence after updating the GEEKOM A7 Max to BIOS 1.29 and EC 1.03 is attached. A second untouched reboot reproduced the exact JHL7440 xHCI Unsupported Request and TLP seen with BIOS 1.26. The initial AER occurred while AQC113 had valid resources, proving it is separate from the later 5 MiB bridge-window allocation failure. Full-subtree recovery restored 10 Gb/s, but the same TLP then repeated approximately once per second with failed AER recovery. The GEEKOM engineering report has also been sent to the manufacturer. ** Attachment added: "geekom-engineering-update-bios129-ec103-corrected.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2167202/+attachment/6000463/+files/geekom-engineering-update-bios129-ec103-corrected.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2167202 Title: thunderbolt/pci JHL7440/AQC113 fails to recover after tunnel disconnect; BAR allocation fails To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2167202/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
