I can confirm that the proposed fix resolves the issue for my hardware. ### Verification Details: - **Hardware / Machine:** ASUS N56JN laptop (Intel Haswell Core i7-4710HQ / HD Graphics 4600) - **Ubuntu Release:** Ubuntu 24.04 - **Tested Package / Kernel Version:** 7.0.0-31-generic from noble-proposed / kernel parameter "quiet splash mem_sleep_default=deep acpi_osi= acpi_backlight=native" ### Test Results: - Prior behavior: Black screen / display failure upon resuming from S3 suspend with `assert_can_disable_lcpll` warnings in dmesg. - New behavior: Multiple S3 suspend/resume cycles executed successfully.
