Sorry you are having the issue! My connections use SSL, i think. I am not sure about TLS. I can check when i get home.
Relevant because guiverc asked if the bug still affected us. It used to affect me on a different system but doesn't any more. Perhaps there was something else responsible for causing UI problems at that time. If the bug is still present on other systems, maybe we can find out what is different about those systems.
