Hi Ross,

Checking my dpkg logs and package history, I was previously running the
Linux 6.x series (up through 6.17.0-40-generic / 6.14 / 6.11) where this
issue did not occur.

The problem started when the system upgraded to the 7.0 branch:
- Last stable kernel series: 6.17 (e.g. 6.17.0-40-generic)
- First broken versions: 7.0.0-34-generic and the recent 7.0.0-38-generic

The entire 7.0.0 generic branch appears to have introduced this
regression with the legacy radeon driver (Turks / Radeon HD 7670M) when
running under Wayland, causing intermittent blanking/black frames during
buffer swaps in Electron and Chromium-based apps.

Please let me know if you would like me to test a specific kernel build
or bisect commits between 6.17 and 7.0.
