Update: I have now tested kernel `7.0.0-38-generic` under Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS.
The RTL8852CE Wi-Fi problem remains present. **Affected kernel:** `7.0.0-38-generic` **Working kernel:** `6.17.0-40-generic` Kernel `7.0.0-38-generic` was tested using a one-time GRUB boot after a full shutdown/cold start. The Realtek RTL8852CE Wi-Fi adapter still failed to operate correctly. Returning to `6.17.0-40-generic` restores normal Wi-Fi operation. This confirms that the regression previously reproduced with `7.0.0-30`, `7.0.0-31`, and `7.0.0-34` is still present in `7.0.0-38`. Hardware: Realtek RTL8852CE PCIe 802.11ax (`10ec:c852`) Driver: in-tree `rtw89_8852ce` The same firmware works normally under kernel `6.17.0-40-generic`. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2167060 Title: RTL8852CE Wi-Fi fails on kernel 7.0.0-31 but works on 6.17.0-40 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.17/+bug/2167060/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
