Hi, Thanks for filing a bug report. Can you check if this still occurs when using an older 7.0 Ubuntu kernel release like 7.0.0-14? If it works, then it would help if you could narrow it down to the exact release that breaks it (e.g. -27 works, -28 doesn't).
If 7.0.0-14 still has the same issues, can you check if you can reproduce this behaviour with the mainline 6.8 and 7.0 kernels? You can find the .deb files here: https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/ and the .deb files can be installed with apt. If mainline 6.8 works and 7.0 doesn't, you can try the intermediate mainline releases (6.9 to 6.19) until it's narrowed down to two subsequent releases where one works and the next doesn't. This will greatly reduce the search space for narrowing down this regression. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Ross Porter (rossporter506) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2170380 Title: [amdgpu] HDMI not detected on Radeon RX 570 with kernel 7.0.0-38-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2170380/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
