I've only recently been made aware of the apt history, so I maintain my own log of things that I change or install. I found these steps in my log: ``` sudo apt install cpu-checker then kvm-ok to check.
KVM sudo apt-get install qemu-kvm libvirt-daemon-system libvirt-clients bridge-utils sudo adduser `id -un` libvirtd sudo adduser `id -un` kvm sudo apt install virt-viewer sudo apt install virt-manager logout and back in again These steps NOT done yet. May now be unnecessary: sudo apt install python-spice-client-gtk sudo apt install spice-client (also needed in VM) Disable ModemManager sudo systemctl disable ModemManager.service ``` Unfortunately, I can't remember if I did perform those 2 steps that I marked as possibly unnecessary. As there's a later entry that installed Python 3.6.9, I'm guessing these entries where on Ubuntu 18.04 or 20.04, before I upgraded to 22.04. It would have been whatever was the latest LTS version of Ubuntu at the time that Python 3.6 was the latest Python 3 version. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2169687 Title: Error starting domain: spice graphics are not supported with this QEMU To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/2169687/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
