This is an old bug but I can repro similar behavior in Ubuntu 26.04 , i
searched for issues before reporting a new bug.
mines "similar enough" i decided to just add to this one.
mutter/gnome-shell:
If I hover my stylus over the toolbar/menu bar, it gets "stuck" there
resulting in a false second cursor that doesnt go away. I then have
glitchy toolbar behavior (ie tooltips hovering with the actual mouse)
This doesnt occur on touchscreen input. Its exclusively with the pen.
I can make the false second cursor disappear by clicking the pen on the
middle of the screen.
