Public bug reported:
After upgrading from 24.04 to 26.04 Evolution was very slow, and kept on asking
for login to Google calendars, and occasionally to gmail accounts.
I tried purging Evolution* and reinstalling, no improvement. I then hunted out
and deleted all files in my Home partition, thinking leftovers from 22.04 may
be causing a problem, purged and reinstalled again.
Now when I try to run Evolution I get this:
bwucie@bwucie-Aspire-E5-573:~$ evolution
Gdk-Message: 12:04:20.047: Unable to load move from the cursor theme
Gdk-Message: 12:04:20.050: Unable to load move from the cursor theme

A system generated report told me I had some outdated files related to
systemd, which I upgraded with no improvement.
I tried running ubuntu-bug evolution, which whirs away in the terminal
forever, with no result reported.
