I believe what is happening to my Evolution may be related to apparmor.
If I run:
sudo aa-disable /etc/apparmor.d/evolution
Evolution launches, and eventually (long time!) I get some of my emails,
no connection to address books or calendars in my gmail accounts.
Seahorse has NOT stored Evolution Data Sources for Gmail accounts, only
from non Google accounts, so GOA is not playing nicely either.
