Public bug reported:
Win32 app worked fine on noble, but suffers a severe crash under
resolute. Upon launch it will seize the entire UI and a hard power off
is the only way I've yet found to recover from it. Unless I launch it
from a terminal session. In that case the escape key sometimes manages
to kill it.
Other apps under wine work fine, emu48 for example.
This app attempts to load three text files at launch, which I suspect is
the problem.
I managed to revise the wine install to 11.0, and it made no difference.
I have the source code for this app, because I wrote it.
It's pretty much just a pure-play win32 app. No app framework was used.
Might be of interest to folks working on wow64.
