** Summary changed: - Import queue has unresolved Needs review items in a quie, needs manual intervention. + Import queue has unresolved Needs review items in a queue, needs manual intervention. ** Description changed: The import queue has unresolved "Needs review" items and needs manual intervention. There are 993 "Needs review" items with the "No import target selected yet" record. Should we process that queue at all? https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/stonking/+source/evolution-data-server/+imports?field.filter_extension=all&field.filter_status=NEEDS_REVIEW Motivation and Context: I was looking into the difference between the plural forms in a file exported to my email and a state that evolution-data-server lists on a page about that package. Check out the plural forms in a package's settings https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/stonking/+source/evolution-data-server/+pots/evolution-data-server/uk/+details - and the actual plural forms setting in a file in sources: https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-data-server/tree/po/uk.po#n31 + and the actual plural forms setting in a file in sources: https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-data-server/tree/po/uk.po#n24 "Plural-Forms: nplurals=4; plural=n==1 ? 3 : n%10==1 && n%100!=11 ? 0 : n" "%10>=2 && n%10<=4 && (n%100<10 || n%100>=20) ? 1 : 2;\n" A fake plural form 3 (fourth one) was introduced for the Ukrainian language to distinguish between a "single form" used with a one word where it's possible to use a single word form, especially for "every day", "every week", etc... https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-data- server/tree/po/uk.po#n1664 as an example. The question is: should I be able to process this queue in any way? Is this being done by Canonical or by the translators? I am on the Member level in my Lang team https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-l10n-uk/+members . Is this a task for an Administrator, or is that on Canonical's side? The issue could be the larger size. There are many languages for this package in Stonking that have 213 untranslated items: https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/stonking/+source/evolution- data-server/+pots/evolution-data-server I processed those 213 items by copy-pasting translations from a source package. If we take a look at Resolute, it has only 3 items. https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/resolute/+source/evolution-data-server/+pots/evolution-data-server/uk/+translate But 26.04 has a problem with translations of this package, as they pop up in English for the user. Also, I exported the file with translations, edited it to contain 4 plural forms, and tried to import it back to Launchpad in the hope of having corrected nplurals in the package settings, but deleted that item when I saw the state of an Import queue in Launchpad for this package. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2172509 Title: Import queue has unresolved Needs review items in a queue, needs manual intervention.
