not that I am aware of but then again I don't know exactly what ACPI does. I use mythtv and I get this error all the time in my kern.log. Mar 22 21:30:20 UBUNTU kernel: [747271.849283] ivtv0: All encoder MPEG stream buffers are full. Dropping data. Mar 22 21:30:21 UBUNTU kernel: [747271.849288] ivtv0: Cause: the application is not reading fast enough. I have even changed the mpeg buffers from the default to 16MB but I still get these errors. I haven't tried a new PCI slot for the PVR-350. My recordings are ok for the most part but it does drop some frames once in awhile.
I have attached the file you requested after performing that command. ** Attachment added: "biosdecode.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12895236/biosdecode.txt -- ACPI-0517: *** Error: Method parse/execution failed [\_PR_ .CPU1._PDC] (Node dfffe660), AE_BAD_HEADER https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/98726 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
