Hi, I'm also experiencing similar issue on my Intel D945GNTL motherboard based desktop. I'm running xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.2.1-1ubuntu12. I've tried all workarounds mentioned above adding options "MigrationHeuristics" = "greedy", "AccelMethod" = "EXA", "ExaNoComposite" = (both "false" and "true"), but no visible change in performance.
