May I reiterate? There are two packages that deal with custom compiz effects in Hardy: simple-ccsm compizconfig-settings-manager
In Gutsy, there was only: compizconfig-settings-manager In Gutsy, 'compizconfig-settings-manager' enabled an 'Extra' radio button and a 'Preferences' button which opened 'compizconfig-settings- manager'. In Hardy, 'compizconfig-settings-manager' does not enable this feature. To enable this feature in Hardy, you have to install 'simple- ccsm'. I think what is wanted here is to have the 'Extra' radio button and 'Preferences' button when 'compizconfig-settings-manager' is installed, just like in Gutsy. Like I said, only 'simple-ccsm' provides this feature in Hardy. Can we have both? -- [hardy] there's no 'custom' desktop effect profile after installing ccsm https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191650 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
