I can confirm this problem. There is no updated virtualbox-ose-modules- generic module available for 2.6.24-18 yet. The latest version seems to be for 2.6.24-17. Building from source also fails because the virtualbox-ose-modules-generic source package depends on the header files for 2.6.24-17.
