Don't think that reverting to the old kernel is a satisfactory solution. I have the restricted version of virtualbox on my other computer (I need USB support there). After the kernel update it popped up a message box saying how to fix it: running with sudo some command "/etc/??? setup" (unfortunately I did not kept notes). It came up with something saying that it was re-compiling some module, and after that everything works perfectly again. Would the same thing work with the ose version?
