That second card is working great now, connecting and staying connected well.
The first one is still being difficult, though.  It seems to have the correct 
SPROM after restarting a few times, and sometimes it's able to connect, but it 
always drops, and sometimes it will not connect again for few retries.
I'm not sure if the issue is related to anything here, but I'll post the log 
where it drops its connection and then fails on trying to reconnect.  After a 
break I pasted in the log of a successful connection (that takes way too long).
