Alright, I have found a nice workaround... 1. recursively copy Dapper's /usr/lib/share/openoffice to /usr/local/openoffice.dapper 2. copy Dapper's libfreetype.so.6.3.8 to /usr/local/lib/libfreetype.so.6.3.8 3. export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/local/lib/libfreetype.so.6.3.8 4. start OO: /usr/local/openoffice.dapper/program/soffice
