Matthew Paul Thomas, thanks for your email describing the features you plan to
work on. Your proposed work sounds great! I agree with your assessment about
Android's setup being less than ideal and everything in your email is spot on.
Your design plan is fantastic! I really appreciate that some folks are not
forgetting about the privacy/security side of things amidst all the new
features being implemented. It confirm Ubuntu is where I want to be across all
my computing platforms.

Hopefully the Desktop will eventually get some of this focus too :)

Just a quick note about the Scopes project: I wanted to say THANKS to ubuntu
engineers for giving users the ability to Uninstall the packages involved.
Privacy wise I think this is a very considerate offering. Regardless of one's
view on the whole privacy issue, I think giving users the ability to uninstall
the "offending package/s" is itself a privacy feature and I wanted to make sure
that you guys know users recognize this and appreciate it. Those who are
comfortable & like Scopes can use them. Those who are uncomfortable with it or
have privacy concerns can uninstall it. Everybody wins.

Thanks, Matthew Paul Thomas, for your work and just your attention to the
Privacy/Security side of things on Ubuntu Touch (I can't wait to get an Ubuntu
Phone :)
