I want new versions more often than every 2 years, but I can't affort the time of monthly upgrades. I really like the 6 month cycle, and it was one of the main reasons why I switched to Ubuntu in 2004. It keeps a good balance between bledimng edge and stable working environmemnt. Beeing a developer myself I see the burden that this cycle is for the developers. But beeing a user I see it as one of the main features of Ubuntu. -- Privacy Indicator Unity appindicator to switch privacy settings <http://www.florian-diesch.de/software/indicator-privacy/>
