The shadow bug seems to be theme dependant. I've tried several themes and Iris (https://github.com/xyl0n/iris-light) is not affected by it whatsoever. It's likely to be a GTK+ bug, but as I said, it only affects some themes. Does anyone have another clue on the issue?
