Hello Everyone, I have a Core 2 Duo PC and I have to install Ubuntu on it. I would like to know if I have to go with 32 bit or 64 bit. Sure I know that 32 OS bit will work on 64 bit processor. But I want to really use the 64 bit if its supported by processor.
Are there any known issues in the 64 bit version of Ubuntu with Core 2 Duo (if supported)? How is the availability of softwares(open source, some graphics card drivers etc)? Will all 32 bit packages work on 64 bit Ubuntu OS? Your inputs will be very helpful. Regards, Khaleel
